Is it better to start watching Star Wars at Episode 1 or Episode 4?

Of course, episode 1 would be the obvious choice, but since the movies STARTED on the fourth one, should I watch it in the same sequence like everybody else?

And also would it take away the magic of Star Wars if I did go in order?

Answer
I would say that Episode I is NOT the obvious choice as when you are talking about Star Wars the obvious choice to ME would be the first movie in the franchise. There is only one answer to this question despite what others may try to tell you, but the only way in which to watch the Star Wars movies is in the order they were MADE 4,5,6,1,2,3. This is because the newer movies are PREQUELS.

Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines the word "Prequel" as follows:
"a work (as a novel or a play) whose story precedes that of an earlier work"

If you were to look up the word on Wikipedia you find it defined as:
"A prequel is a work that supplements a previously completed one, and has an earlier time setting."

Both of these definitions tell you all you need to know about the function of Episodes I-III. In logical story flow they come AFTER Episodes IV-VI even though they chronologically predate the older films. The new movies are meant to supplement the old movies, and the only way they can supplement the old movies is if they are viewed AFTER the old movies have already been watched.

In essence asking if you should watch PREQUELS before the movies they were based on, is the same thing as asking if you should watch the SEQUELS before the movies that THEY were based on. Why not ask if you should watch 6,5,4? It would be just as incorrect as watching the Prequels first and then the original trilogy.

In summary, the only way that you will be able to appreciate the Star Wars movies as they were truly meant to be appreciated, and to realize why Star Wars garners such a dedicated following is to watch them in the order they were released. 4,5,6,1,2,3

How much is this star Treck and star wars stuff worth?

magpie

some guy gave us these star wars and treck things for free and we took them because we thought they might be worth money. This is what they are called:
-Star Treck Enterprise
-Star Wars Episode 1lazer Battle Set
-Star Wars episode 1 lazer tag Naboo assult set

Answer
I can't really put a price on any of those, but you would probably get more if you sell them to collectors. I would say that the star wars things would get more than star trek.

How do you beat episode 1.4 in Lego Star Wars Complete for Wii? How do you get up the ramp?

We are having the worst time trying to beat the final lap of episode 1.4 in Lego Star wars complete for wii. WE also cannot get up the ramp that appears halfway through the level because it is blocked by doors? Any hints would be great. Thanks!

Answer
You basically (simply) need to get to the finish line before Sebulba. Every time you fail, you start a little bit close to him, so just keep trying. Make sure to hold the joystick forward to increase your speed, and hit as many boost panels as you can. It also helps to do it with one player rather than two; with two players you just have twice as much chance of getting caught up behind a rock or what-have-you.
The blue & red door can only be opened by an episode 4-6 Imperial vessel during Free Play. (I haven't done it yet, but I think there is a minikit at the top of the ramp.)
