I want a star wars wedding cake with annakin and padme as our 'cake toppers' but ive been told by anumber of people not to do it because its weird and not traditional. my fiance loves star wars and i really like it too. (even though i would totally have a 'supernatural tv show' themed cake) i went with the idea of having my own wedding cake thats normal and then having the groomscake as star wars. but i dont want my father paying for two cakes! what does everyone think i should do? thankyou

For goodness sake, use Han and Leia! Anakin almost kills Padme! Their relationship ends in epic tragedy!
Honestly, no one will much care how your cake is decorated. But a smaller groom's cake would be an acceptable compromise if everyone gives you too much grief over Han and Leia on the main cake.

Nintendo Wedding Toppers?

I really really want a Link and Zelda topper for my wedding cake, it would make my wedding perfect! But I don't know where to find it. I looked on ebay but found nothing, does any one know where I might find one, or have one made?

Easiest way is to buy the action figures and make your own by placing them yourself. Or statuettes or game pieces.....
Also cheapest because people can charge through the roof for custom toppers!
Unless you want to design your own image and get one of those places that print onto edible paper to place something on top but you don't get any height from that.
We are planning on doing this for our wedding (action figures i mean) but Star Wars.
I'm entering my ceremony to the imperial march LOL!
Our theme is not overly star wars, mainly just my enterance and the cake. I'm in a traditional gown and my bridesmaids are purple :) My fiance was released the same year the original trilogy was Ha ha ha

IF I ever get married I want to have a Mickey & Minnie Mouse cake topper. Not sure if that can be a theme or not.
