We don't have much money since we have a baby on the way and its already a tight budget so we decided to go for cheaper gifts this year under $50.

Since i don't have much to spend i thought i would get him something that he will not only use but won't be expecting and maybe get a good laugh out of it! He isn't the biggest nerd ever but does have a love i will never understand for Star Wars and Lord of The Rings! He doesn't have anything currently for them mainly because what he might have had was more decor and crap from his house before we moved in together which he tossed knowing i wouldn't want it as decor. (so sweet)

I did find a Jedi Bathrobe for $40 on ebay which i was seriously considering i don't really want decor because we are 21-23 and starting a family i don't want that all over my house. The only reason i am looking for other ideas is because after almost 20 in shipping it's over what we had said we would spend so unless i have to i would prefer something in the price range.

Any help would be great!
First of all you don't know what your talking about i didn't ask him to get rid of anything. He had told me he wanted to grow up with the decor in our home especially since we are having a child. I would not force him to not put any decor in our home that he enjoyed i would find a home for it! I am glad he said something to me about it we are in our 20's we aren't kids we don't need a room full of that stuff making us look like children.
and i honestly doubt you know what it takes to make a relationship last. Thanks for the help bitch.

I, too, am an avid fan of both Star Wars and Lord of the Rings - I have posters, toys, candy holders, and collectibles. I'm not sure if we're allowed to mention other sites on here, but I think that you'll be able to find something he'd like from thinkgeek.com. In fact, they have a jedi robe on there, but it is $49.99... I'm not sure how much shipping costs... but I'm sure with all of the options there, it will at least give you some ideas!

Good luck!

How would I decorate a teen boy's bedroom with Big Bang Theory theme?

I need to make this room zazzy!! I am thinking of changing the curtains, possibly bedding and all of the wall decor. I am looking for ideas and inspiration. Can anyone think of any geek chic ideas? Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Answer
Well for sure you need a 'bat signal' alarm clock. You can look up some physics equations on line and put them on a wall or on a whiteboard stuck in the room. Sheldon is alway popular for Big Bang fans. He likes his flannel plaids. I don't know if they have big bang sheets or anything but Sheldon does sleep with his infamous comforter that has the two different colors of blue (one on each side) and the white stripe down the middle so he can perfectly line himself up to sleep. He also uses his Star War sheets. Any superhero items such as the Green Lantern, Flash, Batman items are good as well. There are a lot of places on line (on eBay as well) where you can get decals of sayings that are show favorites. My niece got one of Sheldon's 'Soft Kitty' song and put it up on her wall. There are also lots of places on line that sell items (t-shirts, etc) that are like those on the show.

i need ideas for my 9year olds birthday party?

Q. she was born on veteran's day and she likes sponge bob and star-wars, but she is having an all girls party.

Answer
* Girls sleepover that is based off of spongebob and starwars. For example: spongebob cake, decor, utensils, movies.
Ideas:
1) Rent her spongebob/star war movies so she can enjoy them with her friends.
2) Goody bags can have cheap spongebob/starwars gifts such as sharpeners, erasers, pencils.
3) Serve her favorite foods as the dinner course.
4) Put on spongebob music then the starwars theme music
5) Or before the sleepover you could also have a pool party xD so it sorta related with spongebob
6) Or lazer tag because that sorta reminds me of starwars in a way lol
7) Let the girls dress up as darth vader, yoda, spongebob characters, ECT [since it's almost halloween these would most likely be available at your local walmart or party costume store]

:]
