star wars helmet replica image

I'm sick of the "scaled replica'' ones, because of their size. I want a helmet that you can actually WEAR. Personally, I think that it would be truly awesome. If anyone has any ideas, please respond. I tried Ebay, and no dice. All of them are scaled replicas, and don't get me wrong, but those are awesome as well. They are rich in detail and such. I want to have a bigger size of those helmets, though. Thanks.

Some party goods type stores carry Halloween costumes all year round, you might want to check if you have any in your area. If not, below are a couple of sites of several out there. Some of the helmets can be rather pricey depending on accuracy, materials and the like.

How can I make a biker scout costume?
Nicolas
Answer
First you need a form-fitting black bodysuit that can breathe well and wicks away perspiration. Next you need to sit down with photos, drawings, and even action figures of the biker scout in order to determine how many separate white pieces you need. Materials that might come in handy are: White plastic buckets available from your local deli and are usually free, white shiny vinyl - you might find this in your local fabric store, and all sorts of white bottles, caps, tubes, findings, etc. that match molded areas of the scout uniform. Use a sharpie marker to draw out plastic pieces and cut them with an X-acto knife. Simple rubbing alcohol will remove the sharpie marks. Assemble pieces with 5 minute epoxy - it bonds better than superglue and is more flexible. The helmet may prove to be very complicated, with the visor scoop, but I know I've seen the biker helmet for sale online as a costume piece. Finish it off with a Star Wars replica blaster, and you're all set.

Street legal Stormtrooper (star wars) replica helmets?
Adam C
Would a Stormtrooper helmet be legal to wear while riding a moped or motorcycle?
Or would I have to skip buying one online and prebuilt and instead build one out of a normal helmet somehow?
Answer
Save the Storm Trooper helmet for ComicCon. On a bike you'll need REAL protection in the form of an approved helmet. There is nothing you can make that will be street legal, unless by street you mean waiting in line to get into a fandom convention.
